weedus99 said: I don't really understand, everytime someone challenges communism you just call them stupid and make some weak joke. You never really back anything up, granted I'm not following everything you do religiously. Sell me on communism right now, why should I be a communist
first off, my jokes are incredible. its useless to put “real effort” into converting true believer tumblr conservatives. dudes talking about “full communism” like its a respected school of thought when its an internet communist joke. it is useless to debate with these people. capitalism cannot be reformed or modified to be better and it must be dismantled.
why should you be a communist? look at the world around you! contradictions abound. people sleep in the streets while houses and apartments sit empty. someone starves to death while food rots on the shelf. human labor is wasted on pointless wars to determine who will get to suck the natural resources out of the ground. the environment is being destroyed. we can land a person on the moon while people die from not having access to clean water. what creates these problems? capitalism. if capitalism can fix these problems why hasnt it? it refuses to and must be replaced

"I think a lot of people expect metaphor. You know, like you all attended high school in the united states. You all got that failed writer for an english teacher who tries to explain to you shit like metaphors. Tries to make you read Kafka and get you to tell them what it’s about, you know what I mean? Like "what does the apple mean?" "when he throws the apple at the cockroach, what does it mean?" It means he didn’t like cockroaches in his house you stupid idiot…
…Similar here, some may look for metaphor, but I trust this song is actually about floating down a river. That’s all it’s about. It’s a bad river, but there’s no metaphor. My life is not the river. It’s not a river of love. It’s not a Billy Joel song. It’s actually just about floating down a river. So feel that.” - Patrick Kindlon

Dorm room menswear fashion bro emerges from his cave of study and empty pizza boxes for a sale at Urban Outfitters. He has depleted all the good finds at his local thrift store and needs new threads to compete with other young students at parties during this new semester. His thrifting has left him looking like an Asher Roth and Mr Rogers bastard child. Hopefully his keen eye for stylish savings will help him find the new love of his life this fall season.
